FMOD + SteamAudio Phonon Crashing Unity

Hi,

Unity Crashes every time I hit play if using steam audio source. So I thought the issue was a steamaudio unity issue

But in FMOD 2.0.08. On build, FMOD shows an error “No FMOD symbols found in dynamic library phonon.dll”, and “error loading file.”

I’m at my wits end :slight_smile: Does anyone know a solution, or maybe a direction I can take to try and troubleshoot this?

I see. Thank you! Their documentation states 1.10 and up, but I guess not :confused:

But that’s okay, I will miss all of the new bells and whistles, but I can certainly use 1.10. The only other necessary thing I need is the transceiver and it seems that you guys added that with v1.8

Just tried it with Versions 1.10.01 and 1.10.20, getting the same error in both, however with version 1.10.01, I’m getting the same error with “ffmpegsumo.dll”

Just a quick update, it’s def something wrong with my machine. I had someone else on the team test it and it worked fine. Any pointers on tracking this down?

In the FMOD Unity Settings have you just added “phonon_fmod” to the plugin list?
If you have added “phonon” you will get the error message you mentioned.

I’ve added “phonon_fmod” to the plugin list. I haven’t added any other plugin.
