Global use of parameter

Hi guys, just wondering, since the last post I could find about this was in 2016. I was wondering if there is any way (perhaps in the newest FMOD Studio) to work with some kind of global parameters?

Or maybe a workaround to do something like this: a parameter called RAIN for example, which triggers the sound of rain in my ambiance event, but simultaneously triggers splashy sounds in footsteps events. Would be cool. Thanks!

Tried to use them in a few tests, they work great!
