Pardon the gushing, but the new surround panner in Studio is amazing. Adding the ability to disable speakers and have the panner intelligently redistribute volume to other speakers is great. I’m a Nuendo user and the panner is very similar. With the new panner, we can finally make even 3D sounds Quad or Stereo only sounds. This was only available in the past to 2D sounds, or by using the speaker volume effect. Now, an entire bus can be set to a speaker configuration. I haven’t heard anyone else call this out, but it’s pretty amazing.
