App size with FMOD Unity (.apk)

What can I expect to have in an Android app in terms of memory space? I have around 200 clip files (3 songs, the rest are effects)and I actually have about 187MB with my .apk and I am wondering if changing .wav for .mp3 among other options could help minimize the disk space it takes on the device.
I did so, and changed a couple sounds I have on .wav to mp3, erased the .wavs, but the aplication is heavier now . What could be happening?

If you are using FMOD Studio to build your banks, then you will want to look at the compression format of the banks.
