FMOD Unity Integration in Group

Hello! I am an aspiring game programmer and audio engineer who has tried to work with FMOD and unity to make better sounds in game. The problem is that our class has had no idea how to work properly with FMOD and working with source control, as well as with ignore files. How does one get FMOD to get moved across a unity project with an entire development team without multiple plugin errors and other things appearing? Thanks for reading!
