FMODStudioCache.asset Source Control issue

Every time my team and I make a push to our repository we get merge errors with the FMODStudioCache.asset file.

The project is using Unity 2019.2.8f and FMOD 2.00.08.

I have added it to the gitignore but it doesn’t ignore the file.

If anyone has a solution to this that would be awesome. I’m dumbfounded on how to solve this issue. See image for gitignore.


It’s possible the gitignore isn’t working because the file is already checked in, does this topic help?
