Hi, is it possible to make FMOD events audible in the sequencer when previewing the sequence? I’m constructing a conversation sequence between several characters and playing the events (dialogue lines in this case) on each character’s FMOD voice component. It’d be really nice not to have to play the level but to hear it in the sequencer like we can see the animations etc. If it’s not possible I’d be interested to hear other people’s approach to this sort of thing. thanks
As of the time of writing (March of 2021), there is no way to audition FMOD events as part of previewing a sequence. This is because, in order to play FMOD events, a game must first create an FMOD Studio system and load the relevant bank files, and that is not something that the sequencer preview does.
