Google Resonance breaks non-3D events

When I add Google Resonance to a project, events without an audio source are silent. Is this intentional? I have some 2D sounds that don’t need spatialization, but do I have to add an Audio Source effect to them anyway?

This is intentional on the Google Resonance plugin - the Listener will only pass along audio input that has been spatialized. It is recommended to have a separate group bus under the Master Bus in the mixer and place the Listener on this group bus. Then you should route all spatialized events under this group bus. You should now be able to hear both 2D and 3D events.
